How I spent 3.5k in March 😱

2 min read

My March spendings has been a lot better than last month, where I spent 47% less at around $3.5k.

According to my money dashboard, over 90% of the money I spent were on "needs". Similar to last month, the most expensive category are the costs associated with my property, which is something I can't do much to cut down on.

I did spent around 8.2% of my money on "wants", mostly on eating out and coffee runs β˜•οΈ.

  • πŸšƒ Train Fare - $125.75

  • πŸ’– Colour Consultant Deposit - $100

This month has been a huge improvement in spending compared to last month. Even if it is a lot, almost all the expenses are "needs" which is used to pay for the lifestyle I currently have, such as being able to have my own property.

The only expenses that could've been cut down is the colour consultant and eating out which in the greater scheme of things, accounted for less than 10% of all my spending - I got to live a bit too!
